The happier we’ll be
Cause your friends are my friends
And my friends are your friends
The more we get together
The happier we’ll be

Song: The Sharks In the Sea
The sharks in the sea go chomp, chomp, chomp!
Chomp, chomp, chomp!
Chomp, chomp, chomp!
The sharks in the sea go chomp, chomp, chomp
All day long!

The fish in the sea go swim, swim, swim…
The lobsters in the sea go pinch, pinch, pinch…
The clam in the sea goes open and shut…
The sea horse in the sea rocks back and forth…
The octopus in the sea goes wiggle, wiggle, wiggle…

Fish Puppet Prop Song:
One red fish was swimming in the water
Swimming in the water, swimming in the water
One red fish was swimming in the water
Bubble, bubble, bubble, pop!

Bend your knees, jump to the side. Now bring your arms out wide and twist your body. Let’s do the other side. Can you twist back and forth? Can we make our breath sound like a helicopter?

Songs, Rhymes & Fingerplays

Song: The More We Get Together
The more we get together, together, together.
The more we get together, the happier we’ll be.
For your friends are my friends.
And my friends are your friends.
The more we get together, the happier we’ll be.

Fish Puppet Song

Have you ever been a fishing on a bright and sunny day?
When you see the little fishies swimming up and down the bay.
With your hands in your pockets and your pockets in your pants.
All the little fishies do the hoochie coochie dance.

Flip the Lid: Hand Brain Model

When we feel upset, angry, or overwhelmed, it’s important to take a moment to “put our lids back on”. Some ways you can help calm down are practicing yoga poses or other stretches, slowly counting to 10, and focusing on one thing at a time like the way your stomach moves in and out when you breath.

Movement Rhyme: Wave Goodbye
(Tune: Frère Jacques)
Goodbye friends, goodbye friends
Sing this tune, sing this tune,
It’s time to wave goodbye,
it’s time to wave goodbye
See you soon, see you soon.

Goodbye friends, goodbye friends
Close your eyes, close your eyes
Take a deep breathe in… (breathe in instead of repeating this line)
Now breathe out goodbye… (breathe out instead of repeating this line)
