The leaves on the ground go swish, swish, swish,
Swish, swish, swish,
Swish, swish, swish.
The leaves on the ground go swish, swish, swish
All around the ground.
The leaves on the trees tumble down,
Tumble down.
Tumble down
The leaves on the trees tumble down,
Down to the ground.
We’ll rake the leaves in a pile and jump right in!
Jump right in,
Jump right in!
We’ll rake the leaves in a pile and jump right in!
All around the town.

Sail Your Ship
Sail, sail, sail your ship
Sail your ship with me.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily
A pirate’s life for me.
Search, search, search for treasure…
Jump, jump, jump off the ship…
Swim, swim, swim to shore…
Sit, sit, sit on the beach…
Going over the Sea
When I was one,
I had some fun,
Going over the sea.
I jumped aboard a pirate ship,
And the Captain said to me…
“Going over, going under,
stand at attention, like a soldier,
With a one, two, three.”
When I was two I joined the crew…
When I was three I drank some tea…
When I was four I went to shore…
When I was five I learned to dive…
A Sailor Went to Sea
A sailor went to sea, sea, sea
To see what he could see, see, see
But all that he could see, see, see
Was the bottom of the deep blue sea, sea, sea

We saw the big, long-necked giraffe,
And the silly monkeys made us laugh
(everybody laugh)
But my favorite animal at the zoo
Is the elephant–how about you?
An elephant goes like this and that
(stomp feet)
He’s terribly big
(raise arms over head)
And he’s terribly fat
(stretch arms to side)
He has no fingers
(wiggle fingers)
And he has no toes
(wiggle feet)
But, goodness gracious WHAT A NOSE!!!!
(make arm a pretend trunk in front of nose)

Rhyme
Hunting for eggs
Under my bed,
I found one in a slipper,
And the egg was colored red.
Hunting for eggs,
Now I have two,
I found one in the closet,
And the egg was colored blue.
Hunting for eggs,
What a lucky fellow,
I found one in a bucket,
And the egg was colored yellow.
Hunting for eggs
Where none could be seen,
I found one in a shoe box,
And the egg was colored green.
Hunting for eggs,
Quick as a wink,
I found one in the garden,
And the egg was colored pink
Red and yellow,
Green, pink, and blue.
I found five eggs–-
How about you?
And a Rhyme with puppets:
“Five Little Eggs”
There are five little eggs
And what do we see
They’re about to crack open
“My goodness me,”
said Mother Hen.
The first egg cracks open
And what do we see
It’s a snappy little alligator
Looking at me.
The second egg cracks open
And what do we see
It’s a little purple dinosaur
Looking at me.
The third egg cracks open
And what do we see
It’s a long green snake
Looking at me.
The fourth egg cracks open
And what do we see
It’s a pretty red cardinal
Looking at me.
The fifth egg cracks open
And what do we see
It’s a little yellow chicken
Looking at me.
“My baby!”
said the mother hen,
as happy as can be.
“Mommy!” said the chick.
“Did you meet all my sisters and brothers?”
“What!” shrieked Mother Hen,
“My goodness me.”
