Songs & Rhymes

Rhyme: I am a Robot

I am a robot big and strong
Watch me as I walk along (pretend to walk like a robot with stiff arms and legs)
My head turns left, my head turns right
Both my eyes shine big and bright (point to eyes)
Push this button (point to belly)
I will say “How are all my friends today?”
Push this button (point to nose)
I will say “ I am doing very well!”

Song:

The arms of the robot swing up and down,
Up and down, up and down,
The arms of the robot swing up and down,
All around the room.

The legs of the robot move back and forth,
back and forth, back and forth
The legs of the robot move back and forth,
All around the room.

The head of the robot turns side to side,
side to side, side to side.
The head of the robot turns side to side,
All around the room.

The buttons on the robot blink on and off,
on and off, on and off.
The buttons on the robot blink on and off,
All around the room.

The voice of the robot says
beep, beep, beep,
beep, beep, beep,
beep, beep, beep
The voice of the robot says beep, beep, beep,
All around the room.
