Clap and Sing Hello! (tune: Farmer in the Dell)
We clap and sing hello,
We clap and sing hello,
With our friends at storytime,
We clap and sing hello!

We wave and sing hello
We wave and sing hello,
With our friends at storytime,
We wave and sing hello!

We stomp and sing hello,
We stomp and sing hello,
With our friends at storytime,
We wave and sing hello!

Sometimes
Sometimes my hands are at my side
Hold hands at side
Then behind my back they hide
Put hands behind back
Sometimes I wiggle my fingers so
Wiggle your fingers
Shake them fast, shake them slow
Shake fingers fast and slow
Sometimes my hands go clap, clap, clap
Clap hands
Then I rest them in my lap
Rest hands in lap
Now they’re quiet as can be.
Because it’s listening time, you see.

Animals in the Jungle
The Elephant in the jungle has a great big trunk
Great big trunk, Great big trunk,
The Elephant in the jungle has a great big trunk
All through the jungle

The Snake in the Jungle goes wiggle, wiggle, wiggle…
The Monkey in the Jungle goes climb, climb, climb…
The Turtle in the Jungle has a hard, hard, shell…
The Leopard in the jungle has spots, spots, spots…
The Frog in the jungle goes jump, jump, jump…
The Bird in the jungle goes flap, flap, flap…

Open Shut Them
Open, shut them.
Open, shut them.
Give a little clap.
Open, shut them.
Open, shut them.
Lay them in your lap.
Creep them, creep them up to your chin.
Open your mouth, but do not let them in!
Open, shut them.
Open, shut them.
Lay them in your lap.

The Lady With the Alligator Purse
Miss Suzie had a baby, His name was Tiny Tim.
She put him in the bathtub, To see if he could swim.
He drank up all the water.
He ate up all the soap.
He tried to eat the bathtub, But it wouldn’t go down his throat.
Miss Suzie called the doctor,
Miss Suzie called the nurse.
Miss Suzie called the lady
With the alligator purse.
In came the doctor
In came the nurse
In came the lady
With the alligator purse.
“Measles,”  said the doctor.
“Mumps,” said the nurse.
“Nonsense,” said the lady
With the alligator purse.
“Penicillin” said the doctor
“Castor oil” said the nurse
“Pizza” said the lady
With the alligator purse
A penny for the doctor
A dime for the nurse
A dollar for the lady
With the alligator purse.
Out went the doctor.
Out went the nurse.
Out went the lady
With the alligator purse.
